Stowe Barton Manor House
The above manor house at Stowe Barton on Englands north Cornish Coast where it borders the county of Devon was built after the days of Sir Richard Grenville, some time in the mid 1600s. It is a protected property as part of the National Trust, but not of the kind that has a guided tour. Being a protected property means that nothing can be changed without consulting the National Trust. So you have to do your own homework as to its features. It is possible that some of the walls and the material of which this manor was constructed was once a part of the building when Sir Richard was living. It is located near the footpath that hugs the north Cornish Coast. The day we saw this place it was the kind of day that is featured in this picture. And, if you look closely midway on the left side of the picture you can get a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean.
