This music reminds me of the week before Christmas I spent in Vienna in 1969, dining in soft lighted Viennese restaurants, walking the snow covered streets, feeling the snow on my face walking along the canal, the little Mozart museum, the subdued Christmas decorations of the city, St. Stephens...the evenings, talking softly in the quiet, teaching chess, and watching myself get beat at the game...
